51. Shri Karan Johar

About Him :
Karan Kumar Johar (born Rahul Kumar Johar, 25 May 1972), often informally referred to as KJo, is an Indian film director, producer, screenwriter, costume designer, actor and television personality who works in Hindi films. He is the son of Hiroo Johar and the producer Yash Johar.

Johar made his directorial debut with the widely seen romance Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), which earned him the Filmfare Awards for Best Director and Best Screenplay. His next two films were the ensemble dramas Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham… (2001) and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006), which were both very successful in the overseas market. His social drama My Name Is Khan (2010) earned him his second Filmfare Award for Best Director. The 2018 spy thriller Raazi won him Filmfare Award for Best Film. These, along with the several successful films he has produced under the Dharma Productions banner, have established him as one of the leading director-producers in Hindi cinema.

Johar has also ventured successfully into other avenues of the entertainment industry. He hosts a television talk show, Koffee with Karan, and a radio show Calling Karan, and appeared as a judge on competition reality shows Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, India’s Got Talent, India’s Next Superstars.

About Her:
Dr Leela joshi, the woman physician,also known as Mother Teresa of the Malwa region for her selfless service to humanity. She had completed services with Railways as the Chief Medical Director in the year 1997 and since then has been fighting anaemia among tribal women and teenage girls in Ratlam district.

Despite her frail body and growing age, she regularly visits tribal dominated areas and renders free of cost medical services on anaemia, pregnancy related issues and other illnesses of women. Earlier in year 2015, Dr Joshi was listed among top 100 influential women of the country in a survey carried out by Dept of Women and Child Development.

About Her:
Sarita Joshi is an Indian stage, television and film actress, and is a veteran actress of Gujarati theatre and Marathi theatre and also Marathi cinema. She is best known for her Gujarati plays done with her husband Pravin Joshi in the 1970s. In 1988, she was awarded the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for Acting in Gujarati by the Sangeet Natak Akademi, India’s National Academy of Music, Dance & Drama.

54. Shri C. Kamlova

About Him :
C Kamlova was honoured for his contribution in the field of Hindi literature among the Mizos. He was awarded the ‘Bhasha Bharti Award’ 2003–04 by the Central Institute of Indian Languages at Mysore for the book he wrote in Hindi titled Anubhav ki Diuphant. Kamlova also received the ‘Rashtrya Samman (Award) 2004–05’ bestowed on him by the Union ministry of human resource development for his contribution in the Hindi-Mizo dictionary.

Kamlova contributed towards the developing of Hindi language in Mizoram. In 2000, he helped in the recognition of Hindi Praveen (Hindi BA) by the state and Central governments. In 2011, the Mizoram Hindi Prachar Sabha finally had their headquarters at the state’s Secretariat Complex and Kamlova was a great contributor. He has organised several worshops to promote Hindi among the Mizos.

55. Dr. Ravi Kannan R.

About Him:
Dr. Ravi Kannan, one of the recipients of the Padma Shri Award 2020, who treats cancer patients for free. He runs the Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Silchar that caters to people from all socio-economic backgrounds. He has treated almost treated 7000 patients without taking a single penny from them.

Besides providing free treatment to cancer patients, the hospital also provides accommodation, food, and employment. Originally from Chennai, Dr. Kannan moved to Assam with his family in 2007 to provide basic healthcare facilities for the people of Barak Valley with his Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Centre in Silchar.

Ekta Kapoor started her career aged 15, interning with ad and feature filmmaker Kailash Surendranath, until after obtaining financing from her father, she decided to become a producer.[7] She ventured into Bollywood movie production in 2001 beginning with Kyo Kii… Main Jhuth Nahin Bolta, Kucch To Hai and Krishna Cottage based on supernatural themes followed in 2003 and 2004. Kyaa Kool Hai Hum starred her brother Tusshar Kapoor. She then went on to co-produce Shootout at Lokhandwala with Sanjay Gupta. Mission Istanbul and EMI — Liya Hai Toh Chukana Padhega in collaboration with Sunil Shetty followed.

He is a legendary theater artist. In his 80’s, he continues to regale crowds with his brand of Parsi Natak perfected over decades. Just recently he and his group performed at the Iranshah Udvada Utsav in December 2019.

Joshi founded Kachchhi Sahitya Kala Sangh in 1999 which works for the imparting basics of Kutchi to people who are not acquainted with it. He has written Kachchhi Pathavali in two parts which has been standardised by Gujarat Council of Educational Research and Training to learn Kutchi.

Dr. Khannais an examiner for MD (Medicine), Superspeciality Doctorate Courses (DNB) in Cardiology and Fellowship of Diplomate National Board of Examination (Interven-tional Cardiology). He is on the Editorial Board of Indian Heart Journal and Deputy Editor and Chief of Quarterly Journal of Angiology. He has authored 26 book chap-ters and has about 120 publications in various national and international journals to his credit. He has been invited as a faculty and has given more than 400 guest lectures in international and national scientific meetings.

He has performed more than 10,000 invasive and interventional procedures and has established interventional Cardiology services in many cities of India. He has special interest for endovascular and peripheral vascular interventions and has pioneered newer techniques for percutaneous mechanical pulmonary thrombectomy and tech-niques for Endovascular Treatment of Aortic Aneurysms, ischemia & gangrene of the limbs, Endovenous Laser Therapy and Below Knee Interventions.

During the course of his research career at ICGEB New Delhi, Dr. Khanna has developed the cost-effective, Dengue Day 1 diagnostic test, and the world’s first botanical drug against dengue. Together with this team, he has developed 26 diagnostic kits in as many years of research.
